I love Zelda mainly due to nostalgia, because it wasn't necessarily a fantastic game. It was a linear and unimaginative while taking the same theme throughout the whole game and changing it slightly. It's a series of glorified fetch quests with dimwitted bosses and general NPCs. The puzzles, while marginally more challenging in master quest, are simple and easily overcome. The superior game from the same timeframe, Majora's Mask, is often overlooked due to it's difficulty and the fact most people couldn't finish it.
