As a homage to one of my favorite Japanese Chanbara film series, Kozure kami , also known as Lone Wolf and Cub, The Baby Cart Series, and Shogun Assassin. The story follows Ogami Itt (Tomisaburo Wakayama), the Shoguns executioner, while visiting a temple with his newborn son, Daigor, and returns to find his wife and their entire household brutally murdered. Disgraced by false accusations from the Yagy Clan, Itt takes a bloodied path as an assassin. Together with his surviving three-year-old son and a weaponized baby cart, the two take to the road seeking revenge on their false accusers. The series is featured throughout popular culture and influenced film and TV shows like Kill Bill, Rick and Morty, and The Mandalorian.
